Mycelium Twin Pack
Mycelium is the thin white filaments of fungi, the underground pioneers alchemizing organic matter into medicine. These jars of mycelium are what mycologists call ‘Grain Spawn’ - sterilised grain that has been inoculated (impregnated) with a choice mushroom strain. This mycelium acts as a ‘mushroom seedling.’
Much like a seedling you plant in the ground becomes a full fledged plant, mycelium is the seedling which fruits mushrooms. These jars can be used to make your own mushroom bucket, plant in your garden with a thick layer of mulch or utilised to digest old household items like a book or an old desk.
Mycelium is expansive in it’s versatility. We extend the invitation to get creative.

We work alongside an Australian farmer who grows a select Rye berry genetic, which we have trialed and tested to provide the fungi with the best nutrients and water content for optimal mushroom growth.
